Chikungunya is a viral disease spread through mosquito bites, causing fever and severe joint pain, often accompanied by headache, muscle pain, nausea and rash. Tekton Research is now enrolling a clinical study evaluating a chikungunya vaccine for children. While two vaccines have been approved for adults and teens, this study focuses on the safety and immune response of a chikungunya vaccine in children ages 2 to 11. Qualified participants may be compensated up to $700.00 for time and travel.
